What We Collect

ShipLens collects the following data to provide our service:

• Account Information: Email address and name from your GitHub account via OAuth.
• Repository Metadata: Repository names, languages, commit activity, and file structure (for stack detection). We do not store your source code.
• Feedback Content: Text, comments, and votes submitted through client portals.
• Deployment Data: Deployment status webhooks including timestamps and environment information.
• Usage Data: Page visits and feature usage for improving the product.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively for product functionality:

• Displaying project health dashboards and stack information
• Powering client feedback portals and roadmaps
• Sending notifications about feedback, deployments, and project health
• Generating release notes and changelogs

Data Storage

All data is stored on self-hosted infrastructure. File attachments are stored using Cloudflare R2 object storage. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.

Third-Party Services

• GitHub: OAuth authentication and repository access via GitHub App installation.
• Cloudflare: R2 object storage for file attachments.
• Sentry: Error tracking and performance monitoring.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Export all your workspace data via the Settings > Export page.
• Delete: Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.
• Portability: Download your data as JSON at any time.
